AT REDEEMER CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP YOU CAN EXPECT A SMALL, LOVING CONGREGATION.

A TYPICAL SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP GATHERING USUALLY LOOKS LIKE THIS:

We read a portion of the Bible to prepare our hearts and minds for worship (1 Tim. 4:13).

We will sing songs of praise and worship (Colossians 3:16).

Led by only a guitar or piano, we emphasize congregational singing, wherein the voices of the worshipers are to be most prevalent.

The music we choose is a blend of mostly traditional hymns and contemporary hymns, although some contemporary praise choruses are sang as well. If you would like to listen to the songs we will sing during the week before we gather, you can find them by clicking on this link.

We pray corporately together (1 Timothy 2:8).

We worship god through prayer, and will often times pray for our local community, the persecuted church, and our government officials in addition to regularly interceding on behalf of one another.

We are led in a “call and response,” wherein the congregation will audibly recite Christian truths together (1 Tim. 3:16).

These will be ancient Christian creeds, catechisms, biblical passages, puritan prayers, and various other edifying resources.

We preach a sermon on Scripture every week (2 Tim. 4:2).

While there are times for topical preaching, you can generally expect expository preaching at Redeemer. This means the pastor will preach verse by verse through books of the Bible. The goal of the sermon is to make the meaning of the text the meaning of the message. Additionally, the sermon will seek to present helpful application of the message of the text.

We partake of the Lord’s Supper every week (Acts 2:42).

We have an “open communion” philosophy, which means all baptized disciples of Christ may partake of the elements with Redeemer Christian Fellowship.

We deny the doctrines of Transubstantiation and Consubstantiation, but otherwise allow partakers to hold their own view of the supper, whether it be the spiritual presence or a memorial view.

We offer both a wine and juice option for the cup.

While we do have volunteers who offer to watch infants and toddlers during the sermon in our nursery, we practice family worship at RCF (Eph. 6:1). Children worship with their parents, and we love seeing families worship together. Your children are never a burden to us.

YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US AND SEE RCF FOR YOURSELF. WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AND LEARN MORE ABOUT YOU!
